The Owls under-18s stored a third successive win on Tuesday afternoon with a 2-0 home victory over Huddersfield.

Goals from Todd Wood (penalty) and Alex Barnes sealed the points, prompting praise from coach Sean McAuley.

He said: "That's three on the bounce now and this win was fully deserved.

"What impressed me apart from actually winning the game was the lads' determination to keep a clean sheet, which they achieved against a very good Huddersfield side."
