The Owls battled their way into round Three of the Carling Cup after the home clash with League 1's Hartlepool United went into extra time. A goal from Deon Burton in the first half brought the game to a stalemate after the visitors got proceedings underway but the hero of the day was substitute Yoann Folly who netted the winner in the 119th minute.
