A towering centre half, Mark made his senior debut at Southampton in January 2007 aged just 17, giving an accomplished display at the heart of the Owls' defence.
The Barnsley lad progressed through the SWFC youth ranks after joining the club at the age of 12 and broke into the under-18 and reserve sides at the end of the 2005/06 season.
Strong in the air and hard in the tackle, Beevers is now an established first-team regular at Hillsborough, rounding off a superb 2007/08 campaign with a string of club Player of the Year awards and the Football League's Young Apprentice of the Year title.
