The Pen-ultimate game of the season brought great success and hope of survival to the travelling Wednesday faithful that poured into Leicester City's Walkers Stadium. This fixture was earmarked early on as the crunch clash that could decide the fate of either side and that it proved to be. The nervy encounter saw the hosts take an early lead when a well-placed ninth minute strike brought the home fans to their feet. But, true to form Brian Laws men settled their nerves and went on to victory courtesy of goals from on loan Bartosz Slusarski, Steve Watson and substitute Leon Clarke.
